Newborns
Rustic Iris offers three newborn selections. Each selection will include a prep guide, wrapping baby, and select outfits. Lifestyle Sessions and Baby Only Sessions will take up to 2 hours. Props and Posed Sessions can take up to 4 hours depending on the "cooperation" of Baby. You may meet me at my In-Home Studio, or I may bring my studio to you for your convenience!

Birth Support
Bringing a child into the world can be one of the most incredible experiences of a woman's life. As a Certified Birth Doula and Birth Keeper, I am trained to provide physical, emotional, and informational support to expectant mothers and their partners before, during, and after childbirth. My role is to ensure that you feel fully supported, informed, and empowered in your decisions throughout the entire pregnancy and labor process. Studies have shown that having feminine support such as a doula improves both maternal and fetal health, reduces the use of unnecessary medical interventions and medical abuse when birthing in the system, and increases the mother's overall satisfaction with her childbirth experience. My mission is to ensure every one of my birth clients has a positive birth experience, and is able to confidently advocate for herself and make her own decisions for her birth. I do this by providing physiologic childbirth education with resources, as well as physical and emotional support, every step of the way.

HOW IT WORKS - THE PROCESS
INQUIRE
Head to the "INQUIRE" tab and fill out the form with your contact information, session type, and a few details about your photography needs. (i.e. Birth photography with x due date at home/hospital/birth center; Maternity photos with x due date; Family photos in x month/specific date; Newborn photos (desired package/specific requests) with x due date; doula services add-on request; etc.)
CONFIRM BOOKING
Once we have sorted out all the details you will receive a booking link with a questionnaire, contract, and invoice. To confirm your booking you will complete this questionnaire, sign the contract, and pay the non-refundable $250 retainer to reserve your date! This retainer goes towards your final payment. You will have access to this booking link where you can find all of our photoshoot information as well as a Style Guide, Client Closet Guide, and Newborn Session Prep Guide (IA).
OUR SESSION
For birth clients you will just keep me informed throughout my on-call period and I will come when you go into labor and you give me the go-ahead to head your way. For maternity and family clients I will confirm your date a couple days before our session and you will receive sneak peeks of our session within 48 business hours! For newborn clients, we will schedule a tentative date and adjust as needed as soon as your baby is born (make sure you tell me when you go into labor!).
